Have you ever experienced something like this:
You moved forward, but you were called back to your origin.

It made me desperate. It made me landed in a state when 'I'm not believe in myself'.
It buried away the optimism in my soul. It made me lost my positive-self.
It made me had a trouble sleeping. It made me lost the urge to wake up in the morning.
Simply, it ruined me.

But don't you know, Allah's guidance can come in various ways.
My mother called me and we talked about Surah Al Insyirah. Al Insyirah means solace. She advised me to not forget doing tadarus Quran everyday.
After the phone-call, I found myself opened Surah Al Insyirah and read the translation:

[94:1] Have We not opened for thee thy bosom,
[94:2] And removed from thee thy burden
[94:3] Which had well nigh broken thy back,
[94:4] And We exalted thy name?
[94:5] Surely there is ease after hardship.
[94:6] Aye, surely there is ease after hardship.
[94:7] So when thou art free, strive hard.
[94:8] And to thy Lord do thou attend whole-heartedly.

And I repeated it again, surely there is ease after hardship, surely there is ease after hardship.
I found peace, I found composure, I found hope, and I found the way.
Let's do more tadarus and let's find our life's guidance in Holy Quran!

As much as I love my major -soon to be my expertise-,
as much as I love being an industrial engineer,
as much as I want the job in manufacturing industry, I want to feel how it tastes to make a strategic decision on manufacturing strategy,
as much as I want to expand my world to work in an oil and gas company,
as much as I want to experience to become a consultant and work in a team,
and as much as my family's desire to see me as a lecturer who shares knowledge to fresher and more passionate souls.

I still have that dreams, that simple dreams, the things I want to do, the things I want to achieve, the things I should experience because I love them.

I want to build a language school, teach various languages, from ethnic languages, Indonesian, English, from Spanish to Japanese.
I want to make a blog about "Learning Sundanese" a.k.a "Belajar Bahasa Sunda". No matter how many languages I've learned and I want to learn, my mother language is really the best. When I speak Sundanese, I thrill. It gives me the feel that I'm a polite and a decent person.
I want to make a blog about "Learning Korean" in Indonesia. From writing, grammar, until vocabulary.
I want to make a website that encourages children and youths to write. They can post up their story, submit it chapter to chapter, they can read their friends' story and comment and subscribe to it. It pretty much look likes this certain Asian Fanfiction's site that I used to visit, but it's for children. Reading and writing in the same amount is a really cool stuff.

That's a peek-a-boo of my dreams. I wrote them just for myself, to remind me that I have something to achieve. How about yours?

Life Is Not About It

This life is not about collecting value.
Not about how many people who call you as well as not about who is your boyfriend, your ex boyfriend or someone who have not an affair with you yet.
It is not about who you have kissed, what sports you play, or young people likes you.
It is not about your hair or your shoes or your skin color or your residence or your school.
Even, it is not also about your test scores, money, clothes, or college accepting you or do not accept you.
This life is not about do you have many friends, or whether you are alone, and it is not about are you accepted or not to be accepted by your environment.
Life is not about it.

But, this life is about the people who you love and you hurt.
About how your feeling about your self.
It is about trust, happiness, and mercy.
Life is about avoiding feeling jealously, overcoming feel you are not cared, and constructing trust. Which you tell and which you intend.
About esteeming people who are there and it is not because of what owning of.

And all important, this life is about choosing to use your life to touch the others life by something which cannot be replaced by the other.

Life is about those choices.

Why do you learn Korean?

I believe most of people learn Korean because of Kpop world. They want to know how to write their idol's name in Hangeul, they want to be able to read the lyrics, and everything.

In the opposite, I'm into Kpop world because I learn Korean.

I have a strong desire to be a polyglot. I was frustrated with my Japanese lesson at that time. Although I can read Kana, I don't understand Kanji that much. I'm confused if I saw an article in Japanese. At that time, learning Korean is not that popular. I started learning Korean because it looks interesting. I love learning non-latin-alphabet language. *winks

As a practice, my friends (they love kpop) asked me to romanize some lyrics. With lyrics in my hand, I'm curious with what kind of song it is, and start to listen to the music. I used to hate any kinds of boybands. I prefer bands, with all the instrument. But my friends trapped me and supplied me with all the kpop things. It's not that bad, actually, it's kind of refreshing. Reality shows are so funny, creating so much laughter.

And as the results, I'm into Kpop now. I'm a Boice, as I said earlier, because I prefer bands. And CN Blue's music is really fresh and energizing. But I'm not into K-drama. I prefer J-dorama because it gives us much more moral value in the stroy.

As a tips, the best way to learn reading Hangeul is to listen to rap/hip-hop songs. If you can catch up with the lyrics, then you're there. Of course understanding a language is harder. It needs a lot of practice. I still found that make a writing is the hardest part in learning every language.

Meskipun kita sudah (katakanlah) fasih dalam membaca, menulis, dan berkomunikasi dengan cara apapun lewat bahasa itu, menterjemahkan tetaplah sulit.

Menterjemahkan bukan hanya sekedar mengerti isi tulisan itu, tetapi juga memikirkan cara yang tepat untuk menyampaikan informasi tersebut dengan benar kepada orang lain.

Seperti saya yang sedang menterjemahkan bahasan mengenai project financing -yang kalau boleh jujur saya tidak memiliki rasa ketertarikan terhadap masalah-masalah keuangan- bersusah payah merangkai kata-kata supaya enak dibaca dosen (itu pun kalau dibaca). Meskipun pada akhirnya saya berhasil membuat artikel yang kata-katanya benar-benar saya rangkai sendiri, efisiensi penterjemahan sangat kecil, dalam artian saya tetap tidak mengerti apa yang saya tulis.

Memang, sekali lagi menterjemahkan bukan hanya memerlukan skill bahasa, tetapi juga memerlukan pengetahuan luas mengenai topik yang sedang kita terjemahkan. Ibaratnya seorang ahli sastra Inggris menterjemahkan buku Fundamentals of Manufacturing, pasti hasilnya tidak baik.

I strongly recommend those two books if you want to learn Korean. They're the best Korean books for foreign learners for me. And those books use simple and easily understandable English. So don't worry for you who aren't English native. Actually for me, learning Korea in English is much more easier because my native language (Indonesian) doesn't have time-based grammar, so Korean grammar has much more similarity with English grammar.

Each chapter consists of the grammar explanation, key vocabulary, and exercises.

Maybe there's one thing that I'm not that comfortable with those books. I'm using MCST romanization standard, while those books are using the other standard.

So, hwaiting for all of you :)

Toyota has enjoyed a reputation for operational excellence and superb quality for many years. In the recent months the company has experienced a series of sudden acceleration, braking, and other problems that have resulted in the recall of millions of vehicles. In February of 2010, Toyota’s U.S. sales dropped by approximately 9% compared to the previous year, while sales of other manufacturers experienced a double-digit growth. It is certainly unusual that a company considered among the world’s best in its industry falls so far so fast.

I think that we can trace the origins of the problem to Toyota’s decision in 2000 to grow its market share to 15%. This would make it the world’s largest automobile company. While there is speculation that this decision alone drove the current crisis I don’t think it was the true underlying cause. In 2009 and in the start of 2010 Toyota was a very healthy company financially with an enviable record of quality and product safety. One issue that I think is a possible underlying cause of the company’s problems is the considerable increase in complexity of automobiles over the last 10–15 years. A modern automobile is a very complex mechatronic product involving systems that are a combination of mechanical and electronic components and the software required to run them. The famed Toyota product system that emphasizes lean processes can ensure that these components and modules are installed correctly and efficiently on each vehicle but it can’t necessarily ensure that software errors deep in the system, or problems with electromagnetic radiation interference, or temperature/vibration induced failures might occur in rare circumstances and lead to problems. This is a very complex engineering design problem requiring special skills. The performance of these modules and components can perhaps be determined through extensive engineering development testing. But Toyota has not indicated that this type of development testing was routinely practiced. Were there enough engineers at Toyota experienced with these types of mechatronic systems to ensure that they were properly designed and adequately tested? Problems with these types of components and modules could occur as technology changes even without an emphasis on growing market share.

It isn’t the Toyota production system with its reliance on lean thinking and variability reduction that has failed. It’s the management’s apparent willingness to stray from the philosophy of Dr W. Edwards Deming, when they ignored the spike in customer complaints about sudden acceleration that began in 2002. An enterprise model that incorporated the Deming philosophy would have reacted quickly and decisively when those complaints began. A consequence of the expansion in market share is the dependence on making certain suppliers the sole source for certain critical components. As the market share grew Toyota became dependent on suppliers with whom it had little experience. Were there enough experienced engineers at Toyota to develop and educate new suppliers and ensure that they were up to the tasks required of them?

Toyota has long been a very centrally-managed company. Most decisions and virtually all important ones are made at the corporate headquarters. Yet Toyota and its supply base is a sprawling enterprise, spanning the globe. This can certainly lead to weaknesses in communications, lack of responsiveness to important problems, and ineffective decision-making. Decades of success may have made the central executives complacent, willing to ignore complaints from a few customers in 2002, and uninterested in building an engineering organization that could address the problems effectively. I think this is the underlying root cause of many of their current problems. Toyota now faces a huge task: regaining the loyalty of their customers, attracting new ones, and rebuilding the reputation that they once enjoyed for quality and safety. Redesigning their organizational structure to make it more decentralized and responsive (in a sense, lean) to the kinds of issues that have created the current situation should be an integral part of that.

this is my backpack. i still wear it to campus (when i have so many stuffs to bring) or while traveling.
believe it or not, i bought it in 2003. already 7 years. it feels like a pet for me.
there's no defect after all.
the design is so simple and it's just that comfortable.
i bought it at about IDR 80,000, quite expensive at that time.
but it was really worthed because it lasts this long.

Pernah denger-denger kata Hallyu? www.knto.or.kr mendefinisikan Hallyu sebagai gelombang Korea yang masuk ke dunia hiburan terutama di kawasan Asia Tenggara, ditandai dengan menyebarnya berbagai drama dan musik dari Korea.

Istilah Hallyu sendiri secara harfiah berarti “Korean (Cultural) Wave/Current” (Arus/gelombang (budaya) Korea) dan pertama kali digunakan oleh media Cina pada akhir 1990-an. Istilah tersebut menandai sambutan dan penerimaan yang baik terhadap produk budaya Korea di negara-negara Asia Timur dan Asia Tenggara. Keranjingan budaya Korea ini menyebar dengan cepat, berawal dari produk content-based seperti film, serial TV, dan musik hingga produk hardware seperti makanan, fashion, aksesoris, telepon seluler, dsb.

Nah, apa saja dampak Hallyu bagi negara-negara di Asia Timur dan Asia Tenggara (termasuk Indonesia tentunya)?

Hallyu dapat dilihat sebagai hasil dari ketidakselarasan antara dua arus kuat Asia:

*Penurunan pengaruh Jepang dalam bidang ekomomi, politik, dan budaya di Asia. Di sisi lain Cina mulai menunjukkan perkembangan pengaruhnya di Asia

**Berkembangnya doktrin (neo) liberal menyebabkan tumbunya integritas regional dalam bidang ekonomi dan budaya. Saat budaya Jepang mendapatkan penerimaan hangat di dunia Barat, sebaliknya di kawasan regional Asia sendiri kebudayaan Jepang tidak menjamur seperti dulu lagi. Kebutuhan akan integritas regional inilah yang memunculkan sebuah gelombang kebudayaan.

Namun, ternyata tidak semua negara-negara di Asia menerima begitu saja masuknya Hallyu ke negara mereka. Cina, Taiwan, bahkan Vietnam dikabarkan akan melarang tayangnya program-program acara Korea pada prime time yang beberapa tahun terakhir ini didominasi oleh film atau drama Korea.

Hallyu, seperti tren kebudayaan yang lain, akan menjadi buruk jika dikendalikan oleh nasionalisme yang berlebihan dan komersialisasi yang tak terkendali.

Jujur, saya sendiri ikut terkena gelombang Hallyu, sepertinya saya lebih update dengan perkembangan K-Pop daripada musik-musik lainnya, suka nonton film-film Korea dan mencontoh gaya fashion-nya (FYI, online shop di sana harganya banyak yang masih 4 digit rupiah lhooo *sesat*, termasuk mempelajari bahasa Korea.

Tapi melihat betapa besarnya dampak Hallyu membuat saya berpikir, tidak bisakah kita mencoba memulai untuk merintis sesuatu yang kelak akan disebut "Indonesian Wave"?

karena ditakutkan produk lokal akan kalah bersaing dengan produk

. Kemungkinan dominasi pasar lokal oleh produk

disebabkan oleh daya saing industri

yang masih rendah.

Daya saing dalam konteks ini merupakan posisi relatif

Indonesia

terhadap negara lain di mata konsumen dalam hal nilai yang diciptakan oleh produk atau jasa yang dihasilkan. Daya saing erat kaitannya dengan kualitas produk/jasa yang dihasilkan. Produk yang berkualitas merupakan produk yang mampu memuaskan (satisfy) kebutuhan konsumen. Mampu memberikan kepuasan terhadap konsumen merupakan capaian paling tinggi dari sebuah produk/jasa.

Capaian yang paling rendah adalah standar. Standar merupakan syarat minimum (minimum requirement) akan sebuah produk. Produk yang telah memenuhi standar tidak dapat dikatakan sebagai produk yang berkualitas karena standar hanya merupakan syarat minimum. Inilah yang selama ini sering salah dipahami oleh kebanyakan perusahaan. Jika produk yang dihasilkan telah memenuhi standar, perusahaan merasa puas, padahal mereka baru memenuhi capaian yang paling rendah.

Capaian selanjutnya adalah produk telah memiliki spesifikasi yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Selanjutnya produk dapat digunakan sesuai fungsi yang diinginkan pelanggan. Dan yang terakhir produk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dan memberikan kepuasan terhadap konsumen. Ketiga konsep terakhir inilah yang disebut sebagai kualitas.

Apakah produk China lebih berkualitas dibandingkan produk lokal sehingga ACFTA pantas untuk ditakuti?

Ingat bahwa konsep pasar bebas (free trade) adalah penghapusan pajak jika suatu produk asing akan masuk ke kawasan negara lain. Pajak ini merupakan tembok pertama pertahanan pasar. Tembok yang kedua adalah standar. Produk luar yang telah memenuhi standar suatu negara dapat masuk ke negara tersebut, sedangkan produk yang tidak memenuhi standar tidak dapat masuk ke negara tersebut.

Inilah kunci dari ketakutan Indonesia terhadap ACFTA yaitu lemahnya benteng pertahanan yaitu standar. Benteng pertama Indonesia berupa pajak yang tinggi telah runtuh, tinggallah benteng kedua berupa standar. Sampai saat ini, Standar Nasional Indonesia telah memiliki sekitar 6000 standar, jauh di bawah jumlah standar yang dimiliki negara maju di kawasan Asia, misalnya Jepang yang telah memiliki sekitar 30000 standar.

Lemahnya standar ini menyebabkan banyak produk asing yang dengan mudah masuk ke Indonesia pada kondisi pasar bebas. Sedangkan produk Indonesia sendiri sulit untuk penetrasi ke pasar luar karena standar yang telah ditetapkan oleh mereka lebih tinggi dari standar yang dimiliki Indonesia.

Contohnya, plastik buatan Indonesia memiliki kualitas yang baik. Plastik tersebut berhasil memenuhi standar negara maju seperti Uni Eropa dan Jepang. Namun, karena standar plastik yang dimiliki Indonesia rendah, maka dengan mudahnya plastik China masuk ke Indonesia. Karena harga yang ditawarkan oleh plastik China lebih murah daripada produk lokal, maka konsumen lebih menyukai produk China, padahal plastik buatan Indonesia tidak kalah kualitasnya. Paradigma seperti inilah yang sebenarnya membahayakan industri lokal.

Oleh karena itu, peninjauan ulang dan pembaharuan Standar Nasional Indonesia merupakan salah satu cara untuk melindungi produk lokal dari ancaman produk asing.

and her writings is so useful and worth to read.
then i remember about one of my friends webpage, he's in the same year w/ me in college,
and his writings are unbelieveable, they so amazing, i don't understand about economics, but based on the titles of his writings, the topic must be difficult for common people.

belajar bahasa spanyol :)

mungkin bahasa spanyol memang kurang populer dipelajari di indonesia,
karena memang kita ga punya kedekatan budaya ataupun sejarah.
whatsoever, bahasa spanyol merupakan salah satu bahasa roman yang paling banyak digunakan di dunia, khususnya di amerika latin.
dan memang nyeleneh, di saat semua orang sibuk belajar bahasa jepang, mandarin, atau perancis,
saya malah belajar bahasa spanyol,
karena dasar kekaguman saya terhadap spanyol yang begitu hebat di dunia olahraga
(meskipun kedengaran sangat ga penting, trivial, dan dangkal),
dan saya telah menghabiskan hampir 2 bulan terakhir ini buat belajar bahasa spanyol.
btw, saya memang ga tau di mana tempat les bahasa spanyol di bandung, dan memang tidak ingin mengeluarkan uang untuk les bahasa spanyol, saya memutuskan mencoba belajar dari buku-buku :)

saya ingin berbagi beberapa tips belajar bahasa spanyol murah meriah (bisa juga diterapkan terhadap bahasa roman lainnya, seperti jerman, prancis, italia, dkk):

1.Pastikan kamu punya gambaran umum mengenai bahasa tersebut, setidaknya tau dikit-dikit cara pelafalannya, jadi ga bingung pas baca bukunya.

2. Carilah buku/ebook belajar bahasa tersebut, jangan puas dengan belajar satu buku, bacalah setidaknya 3 buku berbeda untuk lebih mengerti, ini nih salah satu buku belajar bahasa spanyol yang menurut saya sangat sangat lengkap.

DOWNLOAD COUNTDOWN TO SPANISH
Belajarlah dari buku berbahasa Inggris, karena grammar bahasa spanyol mirip dengan bahasa inggris, ada present, past (preterite), future, dsb. jadi lebih mudah dimengerti.

3.Belajarlah sambil mencatat, seperti membuat rangkuman, atau layaknya kita lagi les, jadi punya buku tulis khusus gitu, belajar sambil mencatat biasanya membuat kita lebih ingat.

4.Cari kamus bahasa spanyol, dalam bentuk software banyak kok, di microsoft word juga ada

5.Coba dengerin lagu-lagu berbahasa spanyol, ricky martin misalnya :)

6.Baca situs resmi Real Madrid atau situs harian olahraga Spanyol: Marca (hahaha)

7.Lebih bagus lagi kalo ada temen kamu yang bisa bahasa spanyol juga

Kekonsistenan my fave Madrid masih terjaga, tapi begitu pula Barca, sehingga selisih 6 poin terus-menerus tidak berubah. Minggu depan mungkin terjadi perubahan, kalau saja, dan semoga, Sevilla berhasil menundukkan Barca, dan Madrid berhasil mengalahkan Getafe. I wish...

Tempat di semifinal didominasi tim Inggris, 3 tim dari the Big Four. Sama dengan semifinal piala FA: MU,Chelsea, Arsenal. Plus Barca. Wah a big dissapointment, there ain't any of my favorite teams. Uuugh. Jadi males bahas pertandingannya, ntar aja deh pas semifinal. But I prefer Arsenal for winning the title.

Gebrakan dari Brawn GP di dua seri pertama: Albert Park dan Sepang. Di mana Jenson Button bangkit meraih podium tertinggi.

Setelah Mercedes-Benz pada tahun 1954, tahun 2009 ini kembali tercetak sejarah bahwa tim baru langsung meraih one-two position. Ini semua berkat si genius Rose Brawn (yang kapan-kapan harus berkunjung ke ITB dan bagi2 ilmu, hehehehe). Posisi kedua diraih oleh Rubens Barrichello. Asa waas udah lama ga liat dia balapan bagus lagi sejak pindah dari Ferrari. Namun podium Barrichello tidak lepas dari tragedi 3 lap sebelum finish, pembalap favorit baru saya, Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) bertabrakan dengan Robert Kubica. Vettel yang saat itu ada di posisi kedua, mulai kesulitan menahan kejaran dari BMW-nya Kubica yang menggunakan hard tyre (Vettel pake ban yang lebih halus soalnya...). Kedua mobil bertabrakan dan berputar. Sesaat terlihat keduanya bisa melanjutkan balapan, namun Vettel yang kehilangan sayap depannya menabrak tembok, begitu pula dengan Kubica. Posisi ketiga diraih oleh pembalap veteran Jarno Trulli yang padahal memulai balapan dari pit. Dimanakah Alonso? Dia finish di posisi 6 dengan Renault-nya yang menurut pengamatan saya pas-pasan. Lalu Ferrari? Tidak ada yang finish ternyata. Masalah ban sepertinya. Kemanakah onta berhelm kuning? Dia ke-4 ternyata, McLaren tidak begitu wah lagi sekarang.

*Sepang-Malaysia
Keanehan terjadi di sini. Finish under safety car! What a race! Sebenarnya saya juga tidak mengikuti balapan sepenuhnya, ketiduran 30an laps to go, bangun jam 6 kurang dan kaget "lho kok balapannya belom beres?", saya pelototin aja tuh TV, ada Kimi keluar dari mobil masuk ke pit, "lho-lho kenapa sih? mana ga ada komentator sama sekali!!", trus tiba2 Button melempar handuk, berdiri di mobilnya, dadah dadah dan meninjukan tangan ke udara, dan bendera kotak-kotak item putih dikibarkan, dan barulah si komentator buka mulut, ternyata setelah menunggu selama 53 menit karena
hujan deras, balapan dihentikan. Balapan sendiri baru berjalan 32 lap saja. Ketika balapan dihentikan banyak pertanyaan muncul, apakah start akan diulang? Namun sepertinya kondisi tidak memungkinkan karena meskipun hujan telah berhenti, langit mulai gelap. Heidfeld berhasil meraih posisi kedua dan Glock dibelakangnya. Alonso di-11 saja. Ferrari masih terpuruk dan McLaren biasa2 aja. Karena race hanya berlangsung 50% saja, maka poin yang ditambahkan pun setengahnya saja. Lucu ya ngeliat poin Trulli, misalnya, 8.5. Hahaha.

*Shanghai-Cina
Lagi-lagi masalah cuaca di Asia, setelah Sepang dan Losail untuk MotoGP, keanehan karena cuaca kembali terjadi di sini. Start under safety car! What a crazy races nowadays! Dengan Vettel-ku di pole dan Alonso ke-2. Unfortunately, Alonso didn't get a good race. Balapan ini diakhiri dengan one-two pisition dari Red Bull dengan Vettel-ku di podium teratas (it's his twice, and both were wet race, and he's still hold the record for the youngest race winner ever). Perfect drive Vettel!! Brawn GP masih konsisten dengan three-four position. Ferrari lumayanlah si Kimi ke 10, McLaren stabil.The most interesting thing for me, ada apa dengan Alonso?? He's another spinner.. Overall, seneng ngeliat Vettel, Webber, dan Button bercengkrama di belakang podium.

>>MotoGP
*Losail-Qatar (night race)
Setelah sesi MotoGP tertunda sehari karena hujan yang sangat deras, balapan malam di Qatar dimenangi oleh Stoony dengan Ducati-nya yang sepertinya makin konsisten (Ducati buka Stoony), bahkan Yamaha The Doctor pun tak sanggup untuk mengimbangi laju Ducati. Di posisi ke-3 ada rekan satu tim Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo. FYI, balapan kali ini single tyre supplier lho.. Bridgestone. (Jadi pengen KP di Bridgeston deh!!). Lalu, dimanakah Peddy? Peddy yang memacu Honda-nya dengan cedera di lutut dan pergelangan tangan, berjuang melawan rasa nyeri, dan finish di posisi 11. Begitu
pula dengan Nicky Hayden yang membalap dengan kondisi cedera dada dan punggung, finish di belakang Pedrosa. Dan Sete Gibernau, yang kembali lagi membalap, hanya sanggup finish di posisi 13. A bit boring sih balapannya.

Buat kalian yang suka nonton reality show Fear Factor tentu udah ga asing dengan “Habanero”. Spesies cabe yang satu ini memang terkenal dengan tingkat kepedasannya yang tak tertahankan, hingga tidak jarang memakan cabe yang satu ini kerap kali dijadikan tantangan di Fear Factor. Pada penasaran kan apa itu sebenarnya Habanero??

Sebenarnya berdasarkan Guinness World Records, world’s hottest pepper adalah Bhut Joloika dengan tingkat kepedasan 1.001.304 Scoville* units.

Nah, si Habanero ini yang nama latinnya Capsium chinense Jacquin memiliki tingkat kepedasan 200.000 – 300.000 Scoville units saja. (**ck ck ck. Cabe yang biasa kita makan **dijadiin bumbu dapur, pedasnya uma 500 Scoville Units.

Habanero ini pada awalnya berwarna hijau dan ketika telah matang bisa berwarna merah, jingga, salmon, putih, coklat, tergantung pada varietasnya. Panjang rata-rata Habanero berkisar antara 2,5-6 cm dan diameternya berkisar antara 2,5-5 cm dengan bentuk bermacam-macam, ada yang ujungnya runcing seperti lentera, ada yang bulat, dan ada yang mendekati persegi (oblong).

Habanero dipercaya berasal dari semenanjung Yucatan, Kuba. Di sana sekitar 1500 ton Habanero dipanen setiap tahunnya. Habanero juga ditanam di Belize, Panama, Costa Rica, Texas, dan California. Nama Habanero ini berasal dari nama ibu kota Kuba, Havana, yang dalam bahasa Spanyol disebut La Habana. Meskipun Havana bukan origin dari Habanero, tapi jenis cabe ini banyak diperjualbelikan di sana.

Habanero tumbuh di cuaca yang panas dan tanah dengan pH 5-6. Tanaman ini hanya disiram jika sudah terlihat menuju kering.

Memang wajar, kalo kita asing dengan nama Habanero, karena memang di Indonesia jarang terdapat tanaman Habanero (entah karena iklim tidak cocok, atau bagaimana). Di negara-negara Amerika Utara dan Tengah sendiri, Habanero biasanya dijadikan bahan baku untuk saus.

Bagi kalian yang penasaran, saya sarankan sih jangan coba2 megang Habanero, apalagi makan. Katanya… megang aja udah panasnya amit2. J

Late at this hectic, panic, and tragic week: Why I Always Have Trouble with My ATM Card?

This is the hardest week I ever through, with 7 mid-tests in 4 days, a very troublesome pre-assignment for
programming lab works, and lab works itself. Whoaaa. Alhamdulillah, I’ve passed it (not) well, with a mess at
production planning and control mid-test, some fictional answer at materials engineering, and a fool at final test
of lab works. And there’s one thing that make my week more colorful, my ATM card swallowed. Fhufhu..

I always have troubles with my ATM card,,
• First, when I was at Senior, I used to leave my card at my room. I only bring it if I want to cash for some money.
One day (I was sure that my card lied in my room), my mom asked me to cash for some money, and I can’t find
my card anywhere in my room. I’ve lost my card; I don’t know where and when my card disappeared. And I go to
the police to make an evidence letter, and requested a new card for me.

• Second, when I was in the first semester, I went to the ATM and willing to cash for 50000 rupiahs, but what a fool
I press the zero button five times, and tadaaaa, 500000 rupiahs came out of the ATM. I just very shocked. I was in
another bank to make a new account when I realized that my card is gone. I checked the ATM back and found nothing.
Then I asked the security, and there’s someone found my card and gave it to security. Alhamdulillah, I got my card
back.

• Third, when I was in the second semester, I made a mistake in pressing the button again. I want to press the
ANOTHER TRANSACTION button, but what I pressed is 1250000 button, and tadaaaa, 1250000 rupiahs came out
of the ATM. Once again, I just very shocked. Moreover, I was in a shopping mall, and don’t know where I should
place my money??

• Fourth, 3 days ago. I was at panic in facing Wednesday mid-tests when I can’t found my card in my pocket. And I
called the costumer service of my bank to (asked whether I can treated him for a lunch or not) blocked my card.
I was sure that I left my card in the machine. After morning mid-test, I went to the security again, and Alhamdulillah,
I got my card back. Thanks for whoever that gave my card to the security.

• Fifth, 2 days ago. I just have 7000 rupiahs in my pocket. After religion mid-test, I went to the ATM to cash for
some money, and I forgot that my card has been blocking for two days, and tadaaa, the machine didn’t give my
card back. Aaaargh, I’ve frustrated.. And for that day, I borrow some money from my friends. I went to the bank
after my civic mid-test and found that the bank has closed. I have a little talk with the security. I decided to called
the costumer service again to (ask why he didn’t come) asked for some guidance. And I found that I can ask for
my card to the coordinator bank five days later. Aarghh, really frustrated. I don’t have any money and all I can do
is called my mom and asked some. Heuheu…

***Love you my ATM card,, I can’t wait any longer to gather with you again. You’re the best I ever had…

asiik, akhirnya liburan dateng juga...
**sejak hari jumat yg lalu,
setelah menyelesaikan beberapa urusan di kampus (sya la la la),
hari jumat itu pulang ke kampung halaman dengan senangnya...

seharian nonton dvd-nya hana-kimi ikemon paradise,
olala, si nakatsu suichi itu membuat hatiku dan sepupuku (temon) terpana,
yah, si ikuta toma emang ganteng sih, lebih daripada itu, kepribadiannya si nakatsu
sangat berjiwa besar..
eh lupa, sebelum nonton hana-kimi, nonton film korea berjudul flower-boy, lumayan juga sih...

kesel, trans7 ternyata ga ada, gabisa nonton motoGP deh,,
setelah akhirnya buka detiksport,
ketahuan deh Rossi juara dunia,
sedih sih, tapi turut berbahagia juga, seenggaknya bukan si Stoony yg jadi juara,
how bout Peddy? Finish third is not bad.

sorenya, berangkat bubar axl II,05 di saung dayak,
melepas kangen, setelah (setengahnya) hampir setaun ga ketemu,

nah neng cici kejebak macet,
kumpul2 lagi ya abis lebaran...

begitu pulang langsung disambut teriakan kangen **sebenernya histeris
para sepupu (temon dan yulia)karena balapan f1 di singapura telah aku lewatkan beberapa lap. wah, ngeri aja liat balapan jalanan malem, treknya sempit banget dan dibatesi sama beton, begitu ada yg nabrak, dijamin bagian depan mobil langsung hancur, contoh:nelson piquet, adrian sutil. overall, seru sih balapannya sangat kompetitif. ada insiden kesalahan pitstop dari massa, seneng deh ngeliatnya. akhirnya, untuk pertama kalinya di musim ini, fernando alonso berhasil menjadi juara. langsung deh aku bertindak autis di depan seluruh keluarga dan turut serta menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan spanyol dan prancis (walaupun nada-nya doang). turut berduka cita deh bwt temon, si pecinta kimi, yg kimi-nya melakukan kesalahan di beberapa lap terakhir... more info mampir ke situsnya f1

^^Senin: sehabis kuliah langsung buka bareng temen2 di kantin si ibu madiun, gelap nyawang, mungkin karena angin malem itu dingin banget atw entah alsan medis lainnya,
bersin-bersin deh sepanjang sisa malam itu,,

^^Selasa: flu, tapi masih dalam konsentrasi rendah, kuliah dan menjalankan aktivitas seperti biasa, malemnya,, deng deng deng, demam melanda dan flu dan batuk tambah parah (itupun karena nekad beli teh kotak bwt buka puasa), gabisa belajar mektek deh...

^^Rabu: Bangun saur, suara mulai serak (tiap batuk, pasti deh suaranya serak, seksi gimana gitu*** hehehe), ga ada pilihan selain pergi ke warung nasi si ibu depan kosan, beli nasi sama nugget (salah satu makanan yang digoreng-red). Trus berangkat kuliah, dan semakin siang, flu semakin berat, batuk2, dan demam,, alhasil gabisa ngerjain kuis mek-tek, huhuhu. Pulang ke kosan, ngerebus telor utk menghindari makanan gorengan dan tidur pules sejak jam setengah 8 malem.

^^Kamis: (kembali ke paling atas). memutuskan untuk kuliah probstat jam 11, dengan kekhawatiran gimana caranya turun dari angkot. untung ada yg turun di itb juga, jadi nebeng turun gitu lho.. dan di kampus, melakukan komunikasi dengan bahasa bisik2..
sungguh menyiksa

Tapi dengan kejadian ini ada hikmahnya juga kok dan sekaligus pesan2 juga bwt kalian:

Kalo udah ada gejala2 sakit, hindarilah makanan dan minuman yang memperparah sakitmu itu, jangan dianggap sepele...
